Pinch

The pinch technique is a way to shape clay by inserting your thumb of one hand into the clay and lightly pinching it with your thumb and fingers while slowly rotating the ball in your other hand. Pots made like this are called “pinch pots.” You can combine pinched forms to create larger, more complex forms.
