Happy New Year, Fall 2024
Starting year 26, teaching. High school Ceramics in the SF Bay Area. I have to admit that it’s a good deal. Not without challenges and days that make you go “hmm”.
Here’s an image through some wide-angle lens I found while cleaning a bit before students come in next week. I feel pretty good about the state of the studio, the state of my curriculum, and the fact that it looks like I’ll be teaching an extra course as the sign-ups were solid. It will also be the first time that I have two sections of Intermediate/Advanced, which I am excited about, thanks in part to Prop 28 funds.

Fall 2021
You might think not much has been going on with me based on the frequency with which I use this space. You would be mistaken. Two of the more recent happenings are progress on a variety of ceramics projects that have been bouncing around in my mind including some functional items for friends and an entry in the More the Merrier 2021 art show at the Art Ark Gallery in San Jose. The main entry was created as a part of the Eames Tillson Collective
